What to text us for a fast, exact price
These six details let us name the job and the posted price without a separate look.
- One photo of the fireplace or stove opening, taken from a few feet back with the damper or the stove visible.
- One photo of the chimney from the yard or the street, showing the top and whether it has a cap.
- The label or badge on a stove, insert or gas unit, if it has one, so we know the make and model.
- One sentence on what is happening: smoke in the room, a smell, a drip after rain, a noise in the flue, or simply that it is due.
- Your cross streets or ZIP code, so we can check the route.
- The windows when someone over 18 can be home.
Messages after hours
Calls and texts that arrive after hours join the queue for the next business day, in the order they came in. If water is coming in or there was a chimney fire, say so in the message so we can plan the route around it.
If there is a fire in the chimney right now, get everyone out and call 911; the inspection comes after. For smoke, smells or leaks, leave the fireplace cold until we arrive. The symptom pages explain what is safe to check in the meantime.
Ready to book a sweep?
Call with what the fireplace is doing, or text a photo of the opening and one of the chimney top, and we will name the service and its posted price before we come out.
